The Problem with most training…
Most training workshops focus on a broad range of principles that are intended for a general audience with very little specific guidance. They’re usually taught from manuals and don’t encourage interaction or dialogue outside of the specified curriculum.
Most trainers are usually teaching a specific curriculum but don’t have the hands on experience of implementing it within a business or organization. They don’t have the experience to help you relate to your own situation. They focus on business practices, strategies and tactics but not on the individual implementing it. Training is rarely geared to encourage you to challenge your thinking and beliefs in a trans-formative way.
Courses focus on the typical classroom setting, with little or no support and follow up after. Once the course is over, you’re on your own.
After it’s all said and done, training typically has a very low rate of success in application.
